Hoke (born Michael Edward Hoke Moravcsik) is an award-winning actor, filmmaker and published poet. He trained at Northwestern University, American Conservatory Theatre and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before moving to LA.

In 2023, Stage Scene LA named him Breakout Performer of the Year.

His first film, WOOF., will have an official premiere this summer at Palm Springs Shortsfest, where it is nominated for best comedy short and best picture. It already has over fifty thousand views online. He wrote, directed, produced and starred in it.

He is a proud board member of the Theatre Collective FRANK’S.

He is currently understudying the title role in Hamlet at the Mark Taper Forum, under the direction of Robert O'Hara.
