In 2024 Hoke wrote, directed, produced and starred in his first short film WOOF.,
which will premiere at Palm Springs Shortest and was a finalist at Tribeca Film Festival.

In 2025 he wrote and directed Swaddle with Lucy Parks Urbano. It is set to be released
this summer.
